Debris removal, restoration and rebuilding are underway following the devastating north bay fires. Our Branch is working with the Structural Engineering Institute and the San Francisco Section of ASCE to develop a directory of available individuals and firms that will be searchable by specialty/skill set and services for fire recovery.
We are also continuing our sponsorship of the North Bay Science Challenge. Last year’s event had teams from 18 schools participate, providing a wonderful experience to that supported over 250 kids’ interest in science.

This month’s program will feature a presentation by John Locey, P.E. with an overview of public funding opportunities for water and sewer utility infrastructure. Cost is $20 ($10 for students).
