Outstanding Young Engineer

This award recognizes the professional achievements, leadership, management abilities and exceptional dedication and service of younger civil engineers within the San Francisco Section.  The award recipient shall be the person, in the judgment of the Awards Committee, who has best demonstrated these traits and has brought distinction upon himself/herself, our Society and the field of civil engineering.

Criteria:

1. Consideration shall be given to the civil engineer who has exhibited professional achievements, leadership, management abilities and exceptional dedication and service to the field of civil engineering.  This impact may be through professional performance, ASCE involvement, community service, research and innovative engineering solutions.

2. This award is intended to be given to an individual aged 35 years or less as of December 1 of the year of the award.

3. The nominee for this award shall be a Registered Professional Engineer and be a member of the ASCE in San Francisco Section.

1.  Describe any of the nominee’s professional achievements, leadership, management abilities and/or exceptional dedication and service and state how this has brought distinction upon himself/herself, our Society and/or the field of civil engineering
